Sync and Backup — Switching Devices and Fixing Sync
How Plandy syncs through iCloud, how to keep your data when switching devices, and what to check when sync isn't working.

Plandy doesn't store your data separately. Your events and reminders live in your iPhone's Calendar and Reminders, and iCloud syncs them across your devices automatically — so there's no separate backup step.

Keep your data when switching devices

On your new iPhone, sign in with the same iCloud account, install Plandy, and grant access. Your existing events and reminders appear as they were. There's nothing to migrate inside Plandy itself.

What to check when sync isn't working

If items aren't showing on another device, check these in order. First, confirm both devices use the same iCloud account. Next, in Settings > Apple Account > iCloud, make sure Reminders and Calendar syncing are turned on. Then, in Settings > Plandy, confirm Reminders and Calendar access are allowed.

If it still doesn't appear

Syncing can take a little time. With a network connection, wait a moment or reopen the app. If an item shows in Apple's own Calendar or Reminders app but not in Plandy, recheck your permissions and display settings.

iCloud is the source of truth for syncing. For detailed troubleshooting, see Apple's support article (If your reminders don't sync across your devices).
