FAQ
Answers to common questions about using Plandy.

Subscription & billing

The core features are free. Adding and editing reminders and viewing your existing calendar events are free to use.

Some features, like adding and editing calendar events, plus ad removal come with a Pro subscription. If you only want to turn off ads, you can choose Remove Ads separately.

No. Sign in with the same Apple Account and tap 'Restore Purchases' in settings, and your existing purchases — such as a Pro subscription or ad removal — apply again. There's no extra charge.

Purchase history is managed by the App Store, not by Plandy. You can view it in your iPhone settings or App Store account.

See the Apple Support article below for details.

You can cancel your Plandy subscription (Pro or ad removal) directly in the Subscriptions section of your iPhone settings. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Data & sync

Plandy doesn't store your data on its own servers. It connects directly to your iPhone's built-in Calendar and Reminders and uses the same data, and Apple handles syncing across your devices through iCloud.

That means anything you create in Plandy also appears in Apple's built-in apps.

Yes. Your data lives in iCloud, so signing in with the same Apple Account brings it all to your new device. No separate backup or migration is needed.

Plandy shows your iPhone calendar events as they are, but iPhone may limit how far back calendar events sync. Go to iPhone Settings > Apps > Calendar > Sync and choose "All Events" to show past events too. (Reminders have no such limit.)

First, check that iCloud is enabled for Calendar and Reminders in your iPhone settings, and that you've granted Plandy access to your calendar and reminders. Also check your network connection and Apple Account sign-in.

If it's an iCloud sync issue, the Apple Support article below can help.

Features

Yes. Plandy is built to manage events (calendar) and to-dos (reminders) together in one view. When you add an item, you can choose between an event and a reminder.

Yes. You can set recurrence rules and alerts on events. Set up weekly or monthly events once and you're done.

Yes. The Week view comes in three modes: List, Grid, and Day (timeline). Switch with the button at the top of the Week screen, or set the default under Settings > Default weekly view. List is free; Grid and Day are Pro features.

Yes. Plandy supports home screen widgets, so you can check today's events and to-dos without opening the app. There are free widgets (Today, Mini Calendar, Up Next) and Pro widgets (Month, Week Timeline, 2 Weeks, D-Day, and more).

Sharing and assigning reminders follows Apple's Reminders features. Lists you share in Apple's Reminders app also sync and appear in Plandy.

See the Apple Support article below for how to set up sharing and assignments.

Compatibility

No. Plandy uses your iPhone's Calendar and Reminders data directly, so there's no separate account or sign-up. iCloud handles syncing across devices, and since there's no member data stored in the app, there's no account to delete — just remove the app.

Plandy is currently an iOS-only app. Because it's built on iCloud sync with Apple Calendar and Reminders, it runs on iPhone and iPad.

There is no Android or web version.

Plandy is built for current iOS releases. You can check the minimum required iOS version on Plandy's App Store page.

Yes. Plandy uses the same data as Apple's built-in Calendar and Reminders, so using it alongside Apple's Calendar app or other apps that work with the same built-in data won't cause conflicts.
