When you add a reminder, you can write the date and time right in the title and Plandy turns that part into the reminder's date and time. For example, typing "dentist tomorrow 3pm" saves a reminder titled "dentist" for tomorrow at 3:00 PM. Quick Add is free.
Quick Add works only when you add a reminder. When you add a calendar event, the title is saved exactly as typed.
Add a reminder from the title
- On the day, week, or month screen, tap the New task (+) row to open the add sheet.
- In the toggle at the top, choose Reminder.
- Type the to-do together with the date and time. Example:
dentist tomorrow 3pm - The recognized words are highlighted in the title, and the result (for example "Tomorrow 3:00 PM") appears as a chip above the keyboard.
- Tap the check (✓) at the top right. The reminder is saved with the highlighted words removed from the title and the recognized date and time applied.
What Plandy understands
| Type | Type this | You get |
|---|---|---|

| Date | in 3 days | N days from today |
| Date | fri, friday, next mon | That weekday (next = the week after) |
| Date | 10/20 | That date (next year if it has passed) |
| Time | 3pm, 9am, 15:30, 3:30pm | That time |
| Priority | ! / !! / !!! | Low / Medium / High |
| List | #groceries | The reminder list with that name |
- Add
amorpmto be sure:3pmand3:30pmmean the afternoon, while3:30on its own is read as 3:30 AM. 24-hour times like15:30also work. #listnameonly applies when a list with that exact name already exists. Otherwise the word stays in the title.- Korean (
내일,오후 3시) and Japanese (明日,来週月曜,午後3時) expressions also work, whatever your app language.
Use the quick date chips
While you type the title, chips appear right above the keyboard.
- Today, Tomorrow, This Weekend, Next Week: one tap sets that date. Next Week is the first day of next week, based on the week start day you've set.
- Date & Time: opens the date and time picker so you can choose yourself.
Anything you pick with a chip or the picker takes priority over what you typed in the title.
Undo recognition
Sometimes Plandy picks up words you didn't mean as a date — like "Friday" in "Plan Friday team lunch". Tap the first chip above the keyboard (the recognized result with an ✕). This is Undo Recognition: the highlight disappears and the words stay in the title as typed.
To change a reminder's priority, notes, or list later, see the "Adding and Editing Reminders" guide.
