How to Sync Apple Reminders and Calendar with iCloud
2026-05-28
Got a new iPhone, or using an iPad alongside it? If your reminders and events look different on each device, an iCloud setting is almost always the cause. Here's how to fix it.
1. Turn on Reminders and Calendar in iCloud
Open Settings, tap your name (Apple Account) at the top, then iCloud. Make sure both Reminders and Calendar are switched on.
2. Check you're signed in with the same Apple Account
Every device you want to sync must be signed in with the same Apple Account. Different accounts won't share data.
3. Check network and time
Make sure the device is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular, and set date & time to "Set Automatically" to avoid sync errors.
4. See everything in one place with Plandy
Once iCloud sync is working, Plandy reads the same data and shows it in day / week / month views on one screen. Anything you add in Plandy also appears in Apple's own apps across all your devices.
